I didn't have anything specific that I wanted to post about, so I thought I would make a little list of some of the things that have been purchased in Sept. that have been wonderful little additions to my life...
1. My wonderful new bra from Victoria's Secret. For those of you who have been blessed with these Vuyk genes... you know how hard it is to find a great bra. Well, look no further. Victoria's Secret - slightly lined, with a cute little lace edging, and some sort of fabric that supposedly has some sort of memory and can hold shape excellently. Love it. I have now purchased two! I will try to figure out exactly what type it is in case any of you want to go and try one out and the sales girl doesn't know what I am talking about by my wonderful description.
2. My fabulous new hair straightener. Again, LOVE it! I cut my hair off, donated 10 inches to locks of love and was definitely in the market for a new straightener in order to turn the "soccer-mom-goes-slightly-bob" hair cut into a more modern design. The hair straightener is GA.MA (professional) - sorry that is all it says on the straightener. It heats up in like 1 min. and works wonders on the sporty do. Perfect little splurge!
3. My soft, little, cozy, PINK, new bath robe. I got it at Macy's. On sale. I have been wanting a new bath robe for quite some time and this was a great deal. Had to do it.
4. Buy one, get one for free Keebler's Cookies at QFC. One bag of "grasshoppers" one bag of "Choc. Covered Graham Crackers." Need I say more?
5. Roasted and Salted Soy Nuts. Yum.
6. Black yoga pants that match Jennifer's from Old Navy. This one did not have to be justified to Steve because we used some of the money from our yoga account. We have been saving that money for no real reason and felt justified in the "business expense."
7. Cinnamon spice candles. I love fall.
and last but not least...
8. A 4 pack of my favorite natural toothpaste (Tom's of Maine) in Spearmint! They told me they were not making Spearmint anymore. Sorry. Trying a new avenue. Going with something more univeral. Then, right there, in Costco. There it was. My Spearmint paste. In a 4 pack. I told Beth it was a Christmas Miracle (in September) and it was! I am so happy to have it in back stock. I keep seeing the extra tubes in the drawer and feeling such bliss. Hooray Costco. Hooray Tom's of Maine and Hooray for the small things in life! :)
