Today we woke up in our quaint little hotel, had a yummy breakfast - complete with homemade pancakes/crepes! I saw them and my eyes lit up! Every morning for breakfast I have been eating fruit and bread. Today was finally a treat for something new! (As you can tell food has been a big part of this trip and Steve and I are packing on a few pounds! - this is the best picture we could get of our bellies!)
After the yummy breakfast (which makes my mouth water just thinking about it), we went down to Ornos Bay for a little R&R at the beach (yes, at this point... like we really needed it). The way the island is situated, it is very windy down town, but since we are on the other side, shielded by buildings, we just have a slight breeze which made the water very calm and perfect for enjoying a yummy lunch of fruit w/ vanilla ice cream (see more food). In the night, we dressed in our most appropriate Greek attire and headed for the town again. I had such a fun time just being with Steve. We watched a sunset (to my dismay), ate crepes for dinner and got lost in the beautiful, winding streets of Mykonos. (I know - it sounds like a disgusting romantic movie). HOWEVER - despite the cliche's, we had a wonderful time together and were able to catch a cab back to the hotel for only $5.50! (that is good for how expensive everything else is!)
