Day 6 - Beach and Wind Something.

At breakfast today we overheard some people speaking English. Not English with Brittish accents, but English with an American Twist. We couldn't help but interrupt their private conversation to see where they were from. We got talking, they were from LA, on their honeymoon and had gotten married the day after us. Hooray for a little familiarity from home!

After breakfast, Steve tried to windsurf. Tried is the key. It is SO windy here! The wind is nice because it is also very hot and it helps to cool you down. Also, it allows for tons of wind surfers to cruise across the Sea making it look so easy! Steve decided that he wanted to try. He took some careful notes while we were kayaking around some surfers, took the mandatory class from the resort and then went to battle the wind. The wind was winning. He vows to do it again tomorrow... We will see how that goes.

At dinner we bumped into Jaime and Brian (the English speakers from LA) and hung out with them for a while. It was a good break from our typical night of cards and a movie (luckily in English, with Greek subtitles!)
