35 EURO!

When we first got to Greece, at the first hotel we stayed in, they told us that we were not able to check in immediately when we got there. We were told to go change into our bathing suits and sit by the pool while we waited. OK! They also told us that we were not entitled to free lunch until we could check in, and if we wanted to eat before then, it would cost us 35 Euro each. Hmmm... quick calculation... about $50 dollars each for bread and a Greek salad. NO THANKS!! Instead, we waited a few hours, and ate when we checked in. However, now... any time we want something we say we can't have it because it will probably be 35 Euro. Water. Snacks. Yummy little Choc cookies like I had when I was in London. Internet connections. Latte's. Luckily for us when we went into the local store here, we found some M&M's and they were not 35 Euro, but only a mere .80! They totally hit the spot!
