Today, the doorbell rang. We ran to get it. No one was there, but we did find a small box sitting on the step. The box said, "Evan!" What could it be?
Every year my mom does the best Easter egg hunt for all the grandkids. She goes crazy filling hundreds of eggs for all the kids (I am serious - literally hundreds). She hides them around her yard and the kids have a blast. I have been feeling sad that Evan won't get to do this tradition because we live far away. Jen and I were even looking at flights home for Easter so we could participate in the egg hunt. Anyway, today, in this little package, addressed to Evan, we found tons of Easter eggs filled with tons of candy, straight from egg central at Grandma Lori's house! As you can see, Evan loved them. (ok, he might not know what they were, but he was smiling anyway!)

Gotta love a good grammie package.
Yeah for Grandma Lori and bringing some Easter fun to your house!
Wish you were here for the egg hunt--we could be mommies of babies that don't really know what's going on, but sure are cute!
See you in Seattle for Ben's wedding!
