Today, Evan had his two month check up.
Head - 41 1/2 cm (84%)
Height - 23 1/4 inches (62%)
Weight - 13 lbs 5 oz. (84%)
He also got a shot today. I put him in his coziest orange sweat pants and a thermal shirt and told him I was sorry as we headed out the door. At the doctor's office, he smiled, and cooed and did all the appropriate/adorable little baby things until they brought out the needle. They had me hold him and they pricked his little leg. Tears. Real Tears. I told him I was sorry as we left the doctor's office.
In the car, he slept and before he fell asleep I told him I was sorry for taking him there.
I am typing with one hand and the other hand is holding him as he sleeps away. I will keep holding him until he wakes up and hopefully when he does he won't remember the shot or that painful prick! More importantly, if he does remember it, hopefully he will also remember his cozy orange sweats, his mother holding him, and that I am really sorry for having to put him through that!

Isn't that AWFUL?! I felt so horrible watching his face go from "Oh mommy I love you" to "Oh dear, what did you let them do to me?!" Luckily they don't remember....
He only got one shot? Maddie had to get three and a dose of the roto-virus vax in her mouth. It is the worst watching them look at you like "how dare you let this lady hurt me" Breaks your heart!
He is a big boy! I have never had a baby as big as Maddie and she is only 10 lbs. He is adorable!
