What do you want to be when you grow up?

Tonight we had a gathering at Jen's simply to get together, watch football, and to celebrate our people. We made the world's best tacos, watched part of the Iowa game, and roasted s'mores out in the fire pit in her front driveway. While sitting by the fire we asked all the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. I was so happy to hear that the classic childhood dreams were still being envisioned and hoped for by our little people. Ivy wanted to be a princess. Ryan wanted to be a professional baseball player. Owen wants to be president of the United States (or a police man if that one doesn't pan out). Evan wants to be a race car driver. The only one that was a little strange was Lyla. She wants to be an owl when she grows up, but I guess if you are going to dream you should dream big! :)
