iPhone!

Steve and I were having an exercise contest. The rules? Everyday we had to do 200 sit ups and one of the following:
a predetermined arm routine,
a predetermined leg routine,
20 sun salutations,
go for a run,
or go for a bike ride.

We decided to officially start the competition on Sept 1, but had been doing the exercises for about a week prior to that. We decided that whoever missed a day first would lose. The winner would get something awesome of their choosing. Obviously Steve would pick an iPad and I hadn't decided what I would choose.

So, we continue the exercise routine for approximately FOUR days, yes, you read that right. On Sept 4, I fell asleep w/ Evan and came out at about 11 pm to find Steve asleep on the couch.

'Steve, do you want to do arms or yoga tonight?' I gently said.
'I don't care,' he mumbled.
'Ok, I pick yoga. Do you want to do it with me?'
'No,' he mumbled again.
'Ok.' and I proceeded to do the yoga routine.

When I was done I asked him if he was going to do his. He said no, that he would do it in the morning. Um, Steve, the whole point of the competition was to make us do it EVERYDAY! No breaks! So, in case he does not understand the gravity of his tired decision, I remind him that if he does not do it, he will LOSE. He grumpily replied, 'Then you win.' LAME! Who does a competition for four days?!

Long story short- iwin! idid it! ichose an iPhone! Yay! There was a part of me that felt guilty about the purchase, but the part of me that could not believe Steve's lack of a competitive spirit won out and I bought a lovely little white phone on Sunday. Thanks lazy boy for the win! Stats... Angie = 1, Steve = 0
