some things - a little random

There are a few things/places/times in your life that totally change you.  Change you for the good, for the better, for the worst, for the moment, forever.  Today, as I was driving Jen's car to the airport to pick up her wonderful little family, I was thinking about a few things in my life that have totally changed me and I came up with a (non-exclusive) list (in no particular order):

December 31, 2009.
an old school record with Disney Children's Songs
Steve's ex-dog, "Hayden"
292 Lander Hall
a sparkly little diamond ring.
Kristi buying dishes for the Centerville house.
my cell phone
Becoming an aunt.
a trip to Minnesota to see Rebecca where I decided on the plane ride back (all alone with a book about a girl that only had her fancy job and was miserable) that I was ready to have a baby.
San Diego
Saying, "I do" and totally meaning it.

I don't know why I was in such a contemplative, deep, thought provoking mood on the drive to the airport.  I was listening to old school country on Jen's satellite radio.  Maybe the flood of nostalgia from the music of my childhood was getting to me.

We're so happy you went to SD, said I Do, and decided on a baby on your flight home from MN...it's funny that if you had not done the first two, we would probably not be where we are in live now...ah, the wonderful connections that life brings!
