It = the ipod.
Me = complete shock
Steve = pure joy! (mixed with a little sadness - he didn't buy the ipad2 yet because everywhere we went was sold out.)
One ipod working = no need for an ipad
Me = pure joy! (no sadness here!)
Steve = plotting his next course of action to put operation "buy unnecessary electronics" back on track.

This is a truly amazing story. Apple products are the best.
I would never consider an iPad to be frivolous. An iPad is a miracle and practically a necessity. You will be able to carry it around and Skype with your family and friends wherever you go. Does that help, Steve?
