So Far... So Good.

We took Evan to the dr. yesterday.  She said he was perfect.  Hooray!  She didn't give me statistics as to where he falls in comparison to other kids (you know, like ___% for height, weight, etc), but she did tell me he was PERFECT which was even better!

Things are going ok so far.  We are all getting used to each other.  He is sleeping, and waking up at all times of the day, has no real pattern, and is eating sporadically.  I am constantly calling Jen and Em to make sure that things are ok and am still a little uncertain as to how to do all this, but it will come.  (or so they say, right?)

Tomorrow we have another dr. apt. for him to get circumsized and to do another blood test.  Tomorrow will be a bad day, so today is an easy, restful day.  Plans?  We are going to get dressed (still in our pajamas), we are going to Baby's R Us for some needed supplies and we are giving Evan a bath.  Amazing how different things are today than they were last week!  :)

By the sounds of today's agenda, I'd say you already have the hang of it. And your sisters are right, it does come to you, sooner than you realize. I hope you are recovering speedily. I cannot wait to meet him!

So glad all is going well and I agree, he is perfect! We are thinking of all of you everyday. Bob is such a proud grandpa, taking pics of Evan everywhere to brag on him! Hugs and kisses to Evan from us. Take care!

Congratulations! We heard the big news the day you had him. He looks so cute. It will be fun to watch him grow via internet and perhaps one of these days we'll actually see him in person. Good luck with recovering and get used to being a mommy. It's awesome!

What a cutie! Isn't it amazing how you can have such a packed agenda and yet feel like you haven't actually done anything?!

Hi Angie-It's Lisa Tillotson Barkdull. I found your blog from Lisa Felmans and I just wanted to say congrats on your beautiful baby boy. I had a little boy two and a half months ago via c-section as well. Crazy to think we could be old enough to have kids-didn't we just graduate from good ol' VHS?
