This morning, I woke up feeling great. I even woke up a few minutes before the alarm feeling totally rested. Hooray! After that... things didn't go so well.
First, there was an earwig in the bathroom. After I grabbed him in toilet paper and threw him in the toilet, he started swimming. I quickly flushed him down, but felt a bit squimish the rest of the morning while getting ready in the earwig breeding ground.
Next, my English Muffin got stuck in the toaster. I have the cutest toaster ever. It is greenish blue with poka dots of all colors. My dad gave it to me for Christmas a few years back (with a little help from Jen) and I love it. However, lately, it doesn't want to work quite right (including having a hard time keeping the lever down when you are ready for toast) and today it trapped the English Muffin.
Next, I drove to court (no problems with the drive), but as I got here, I logged into work and started looking at the list of things that happened in my cases yesterday. The Trustee did a motion to dismiss one of my cases for some really lame reasons. My clients are going to be really mad (at me - of course) when they get here at 10:30 and I have to tell them what is going on. This is not my fault, but of course, the clients always find a way to blame the messenger. Great.
Next, (I am almost done), I was trying to read the stupid Motion to Dismiss and another attorney came over and started talking and talking and talking and talking. I usually like to chat with the other attorneys to see what is going on in the world outside of the office, but today... I have a Motion to Dismiss to read, I don't care about what she is saying (in fact, I don't even know what she is saying), and I saw an earwig in the bathroom!
On a side note, things will get better as the day progresses. They always do. Also, when I texted Steve about the Earwig he did remind me that an earwig is NOT as bad as the giant stink bug we found in the shower a few weeks ago.

Hope things got better!
What the heck is an earwig?
An earwig is a hideous little bug with pincher things on its head! It is skinny and long and NOT something you want to see in your bathroom!
