the size of a beer bottle.

Just a quick note... today I read on the internet that around week 21 the baby is the size of a beer bottle (root beer if you would rather) and next week it will be the size of a new un-eaten row of oreo cookies. Steve said, "mmmm, beer" and I thought, "mmmm Oreo cookies!" :)

I was happy that they put the size into something that actually made sense to me. Afterall - another site said the baby is the size of a turnip. Um, sure. That helps... ??? Who has actually seen a turnip in real life and even if you have, would just the thought of it give you a good visual for the size of an unidentified object floating around in your (very protruding) stomach!?

Hooray for rows of cookies which are much easier to relate to!

ha ha - that is way better than a turnip. I am positive that I wouldn't know what that looks like.

Hooray for your baby and your belly getting bigger.

Angie it is so cool that you are just a week ahead of me. It makes it so fun. I will be finding out the sex tomorrow.

I always thought it was funny how they compare the size of the baby to fruit. One week Luke was the size of an apple and the next he was a banana! How do they go from round to long and skinny in a week?! Terrible comparison... beer and cookies are much better ;)

I'm so glad you put some belly pictures up! I love them. You look beautiful and like a little trim and fit mommy to be! Keep them coming.
