Stroke

Today my throat was a little scratchy. Nothing to complain over, but on a Steve scale of health, about a 92%. As the day wore on, things started to take a turn. Slightly scratchy turned to slightly painful. Slightly painful turned to difficulty talking. Difficulty talking turned into full on I-think-I-may-die-it-hurts-to-swallow-eat-or-breathe, or as Steve would put it, about a 5%. I was quickly filing a case for work before taking Evan upstairs to read books (exactly 6 books every night), when I got a little pain in my throat that sort of took my breath away. I said, "wow, that was weird." Evan said, "mom, maybe you had a stroke and need to go to the dr."

Where he has heard that, I have NO IDEA! I calmed his fears, drank Jen's disgusting Apple cider vinegar tea and am hoping for an increased percentage tomorrow. I seriously better be careful what I say these days. My little OCD son seems to always be listening and apparently interpreting things in the best way he knows how!
