Tonight as Jen and Em and I were texting (a joint 3-way text that usually takes place after all the kids, except Auttie, have gone to bed), a random fitness challenge emerged. Each week a new, attainable goal will be set and each week we will be accountable to each other- and seriously, what is worse than that? When there are three of us no one wants to be the lame one that can't handle a little challenge! (This pressure has resulted in things like doing the insanity workout and praising the day Jen got a horrible case of hand foot and mouth so we all could have the silent ok to take a little break!)
So for Week 1 of the fitness challenge I will do 100 sit-ups every night and give up my favorite nightly snack of chocolate chips. Mind you, this is only for a week. Next week may be something else, something harder, something easier, something more time consuming, whatever. If it is only for 1 week, it doesn't seem so bad!
