Copy Cat

I keep sitting at the computer, getting ready to post and realizing that nothing has really happened that is new or different. No pictures of outings or fabulous trips to other countries. No exciting event has transpired.

I guess I could write about work and how we are so busy we want to kill ourselves. With the rest of the country struggling through an economic crisis... business is booming.

Or I could write about how last week the Prius turned over it's 3,000th mile. Sorry little car.

Or maybe I could describe, in detail, the terrible bladder infection that I just got over. (Don't worry, I won't.)

Instead, Em posted about loving the little things and I want to do that too (without the cute pictures of little kids. I just don't think pictures of Steve and I would have the same effect). :) A glimps of the little things I love:
Phone calls from friends. Hershey's Chocolate Bars. Stickies. Earrings that really make an outfit. Text messages. Steve's new beard (I will get a picture - you wouldn't believe it). Pink. Avocados. (Not pink avocados though). Packages in the mail. Good books. An old table from the 50's in the kitchen. Nieces saying their new barbie is "gorgeous." Being named Noni, Nona, and the latest, Nona-butt - Hmmm. A little stuffed mouse with a teeshirt that says "angela" from 1985. The smell of fall. Sheep blankets. Painting. Pictures. Walking around Target. Teaching yoga with my sister.

A small list, but I think it helps to remember that we don't need an "event" to have a totally fabulous life!
