It is getting later and later by the minute and I need to leave the office, eat something besides chocolate (that is all I have had today), and get some sleep. Sometimes just the thought of doing the drive is more than I can take! It is like getting ready for bed at night. It feels so good to have clean teeth and a clean face, but getting yourself into the bathroom to do all the steps is quite overwhelming!
Yesterday was a really fun day. Steve and I got up early and went out to breakfast together. We don't get to spend too much time together, so it was nice to catch up. I had the french toast (of course) and he had the eggs and toast. Yummy. Next, we went home and cleaned the house. We hadn't dusted in two weeks and things were starting to feel yucky. The house smelled like lemons when we were done and I loved it. The best part about the cleaning was that Steve said that he was going to clean the bathroom after he ran some errands and then proceeded to sit on the internet. I asked if he could please help with something else while he waited for his errands. He said, "sure, what should I do?" I said, "well you can dust, or sweep, or vacuum..." Seriously. I walked into the computer room and he proceeded to ask Beth, "Dust? How do I dust?" Beth told him she feared for his life and quickly handed him the necessary supplies. That shows a serious lack of helping around the house! He does take out the garbage and cleans the compost pail so I have to give him some slack I guess. (He doesn't read this, so it is ok to say that.)
After the cleaning Beth and I got ready and went to my girlfriend's Bridal Shower. It was also very fun. The planner of the party was the perfect "shower" type friend and had all the appropriote shower games and props. I won the prize for knowing Jannine the best. :)
After the shower, Beth and I went to Target. Love it! I got a cute new hoodie for yoga and proceeded home to sit out by the fire pit and roast marshmellows. The stars were out, music was playing on the outdoor speakers (Duster boy did know how to install speakers), and it was a perfect end to a great day.
Today, on the other hand... it is now 11:31 and I should head home!! :)
