Today was a good day. Steve and I ventured out in the snow to get our Christmas tree. Now that may sound like we put on our snow clothes, grabbed our saw and headed for the wilderness, but in truth, we just went a few miles north to the local Target. Target finally had the tree that we wanted, and we finally were ready to spend the money. We got some cute ornaments at this little Christmas store down town and decorated the tree. I even wrapped a few gifts that I have for some friends and put them under the tree to get the true feeling. It looks so cute! I am excited for Christmas. It will be weird to not be in Utah, but I think it will end up being ok.
On a Christmas note, you know when someone gets you a gift or plans you a surprise and you happen to either a) know what they are getting, b) accidently see the gift, c) know the person who is buying it well enough to know what they are buying, or d) look somewhere where you know you shouldn't be looking, not really expecting to find something and then... finding something? OH the guilt! When we were little, my mom used to put all the presents under a blanket and tell us if we wanted to ruin our Christmas, we could. I NEVER looked, and am glad. I like surprises and, even though I always tell Steve to give me hints, it is much more fun to really be surpised than to have to fake the "surprised face" because you already know. :)

Sean and I are buying our tree very soon. There is a place down the street that sells them for only $10. I'm excited!
Now I just need to buy more presents. It's much easier to shop for friends because you just pick out things you'd like for yourself. I've only got presents for you, Bethany and my sister. I have no idea what to get my parents. I have too many ideas about what to get Sean.
We actually did go out into the wilderness and saw downa tree-ha ha!! I am not sure we will do it again, but it is worth the experience at least once!!
