This week in fitness:

So the goals of this week look a little different.  First goal?  Make more realistic goals.  1,000 push-ups?!  Nope.  Didn't happen.  I think I almost got 300.  How totally lame of me.

So the real goals of this week were to get in two runs and to eat no wheat (I have nothing against wheat and don't really mind eating it, I just wanted to have some sort of food goal that still allowed me to eat Chocolate Chips - I learned my lesson with that one!)  The idea of going for two runs sounded so fabulous... However.  I woke up on Monday with an awful pain in my neck.  I don't know if it was from all the stress of the Super Bowl or if it was from doing random push ups the week before, but this pain was intense.  This happened to me once before.   The pain in my neck was so bad that I couldn't turn my head.  I had to sit up straight and could not turn my head to the side.  I had to turn my whole body to look to the right or the left.  I went to Jen's favorite massage/therapist person and he was able to release all the tension I was holding in my hips, shoulders, neck and jaw.  The pain released and is on the mend (still a little sore, but nothing I can't handle), but I still haven't been able to get my runs in.  How totally lame of me again.
