Welcome Rainbow!

We welcomed a new member of our family today. Despite my protests, Evan convinced me to buy a fish. It is a small rainbow colored fish that Evan sweetly named "rainbow."  Before we got the little guy Evan proudly told me that if it was gold, he was going to name it "Goldie." If it was blue, he was going to name it "bluey." If it was black, he was going to name it "Blacky." Etc, etc.  He loves the little fish. He asked 100 times if he could feed it. He told it good night and asked if he could bring it to his room to sleep. I still don't want the fish, but Evan does. He was skipping all over the store and was so proud as he watched the little guy swimming around the bowl in our kitchen. Today was a good moment as a mom.
