First, Steve and I make the joint decision to do the yard. No regrets. (we haven't gotten the bill yet, but still... no regrets).
Second, I make the executive decision to get Steve a Nook Simple for either Father's Day or his Birthday -- they are a week apart from eachother. (I am in love with my kindle and want him to get one, but he won't. The Nook will have to do).
Third, the dentist tells me that my teeth are breaking from me grinding them so hard at night and that I should invest in a $400 night guard. (Well, he actually told me that I should try to "de-stress" my life, and THEN, when I laughed, he told me to invest in the night guard).
Fourth, I come home from work (and the night guard fiting at the dentist) last night to the old dishwasher leaking water all over the kitchen. Awesome.
$2,000+ dollars later... I will definitely need the night guard now!!
On a side note... if you have been contemplating buying a Kindle and are on the fence about it, YOU SHOULD DO IT! I love mine. Absolutely true love. I might even go as far as to say it is the best birthday present I have received to date. Yes. If you do the math, that means it is number one of 31! Thank you Dad for giving it to me! Jen and I have our own "book club" (well-- actually, she finds a book, reads it in about a day, tells me to read it, and then, when I get done with it, we discuss it and find another one) and it has been a wonderful addition to my world!
P.S. If you would like to join our "book club" you must:
1 - not judge our choice of books (most are free spirited, easy, summer reading type of books with a little romance added in and not much substance); and
2 - let us know! We will keep you updated on the newest read!

is it too late to talk you out of the night guard? I got one over the counter because as you know we get the grinding from Grandpa, and it has worked just fine. The dentist will tell you that the expensive one will work so much better, not true.
Also, I would love to be in your book club;) I love reading and I have a ton of books to reffer to you guys.
On the bright side, your yard looks amazing, your teeth won't disappear in the night AND you get a new dishwasher...HOORAY
I would also love to join the book club. I love to read and I don't judge books love them all.
