Last week, my dad called and asked if I had any projects in the house that needed tile. (We have a client that does fabulous tile work and needed some jobs. My dad, being the softy he is, was looking for work for the guy.) Anyway, I looked around the house and saw this...
BATHROOM
FRONT ENTRY WAY
KITCHEN
Yes, that is pink-squared-linoleum in the bathroom and kitchen, and something even more hideous in the front entry way. Thank you 1973! Um, yes dad. I have some rooms that could use tile. So, we emptied out the rooms, met with the tile guy- gone rock star (that is a whole other story!), negotiated a price, and said goodbye to the old floor!
If you look closely, you can see the fridge in the living room along with the oven. What you cannot see from the photos is the washing machine and dryer in the bedrooms with the bathroom door as well as the loads of dust piling up on EVERYTHING. After a few days of pizza and left overs, and one day with Bob and Kathi here watching Evan and navagating the torn apart house, we now have this and I am in love with it!!!
HOORAY!!!

I absolutely love your new floor. Great, great decision! The inside and outside of your home looks so nice...you've done so many nice updates this year...we're happy for you guys! Love, hugs, and kisses to our little sweetheart! Hope things are going okay this weekend!
That look amazing! It's nice to add things here and there that make you love where you live even more.
