FIRST...On Thurs morning (at 6:00 am - sorry Ben for making you take us!) we leave for the Bahamas! I am so excited. Yesterday (after re-painting the bathroom - same color, just a new coat and a new white ceiling) Steve and I started making a list of things we needed and started piling up things in the guest room to pack. I have 3 reading books, two crossword puzzle books, 1 sodoku book, 1 photo hunt book, 1 ipod shuffle, 3 magazines, and some sun block. As long as I throw in a few bathing suits, I think I could be ready to go! :)
SECOND... Everytime we leave for extended periods of time, it seems to be the exact time that Beth's dad (Peevo) makes plans to come to the Pacific Northwest. He was here while we were in Greece and he will be here again while we are in the Bahamas. We are totally sad that we will miss him and are hoping we can make plans to do breakfast before he heads back to the East Coast. I know it doesn't seem like that big of a deal... your friend's dad is coming to town... and you will not be able to see him... SAD? YES! Totally sad. Peevo is awesome (even though he says he feels bad for Steve for having to put up with Beth and my antics). We are sad that we will miss him, but are happy that he took us up on the offer to stay at our house instead of a hotel. The empty green house will be happy for the company!
THIRD... Right now, while I blog, Steve is hand painting one part of the bathroom above the shower. The "paint line" between the shower and the wall wasn't straight and he is humoring me. I love him.

You are so sweet to be excited for Peevo's visit :) He will take good care of the little green house. Dinner on Saturday after you get back for sure!
Yay for vacation! You'll have so much fun! Sean and I are going to Mexico for 11 days next month. Back to Cabo (Dad got us a timeshare). It will definitely be a different experience than when you and I went. :) I'm stocking up on sunscreen and crossword puzzle books now. I also finally read Twilight and have the other three to go, so they might be making an appearance.
